My Year on the Grill- I was lucky enough to go on a Murray’s cheese tour cave and loved it. Each 5 cave had a different temperature, humidity, and was strangely inviting.
I’ll try to get a New Years cheese plate post in the works.
Mandy- I’m going to have to try to find this magical Dunbarton back in Cali too.

Dunbarton! It was one of the cheeses Gordon @ Rainbow suggested for our company holiday dinner, but I couldn’t get the logistics together to get it to Chico from SF on such short notice. Now that you’ve mentioned it too, I MUST try it.

PS I’m insanely jealous of your NY cheese tour…

BTW…

I am hosting a gathering for New Year’s eve. There will be plenty of snacky dessert items on a buffet for snacking after dinner, but i would like to serve a cheese board for the actual dessert… would you consider sharing what you would consider an appropriate board as a posting??? Limited to say 5 cheeses, what sides and how to display…

you must have missed murray’s cheese in the village… I always stop for a sample, and they always are gracious enough to feed a wanderer a taste
